Our Story
Welcome to Purdy Poodles! We are a small, family-owned breeding program located on our ranch in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Our journey with standard poodles began over [X] years ago when we fell in love with the breed's intelligence, elegance, and wonderful temperament.
What started as a passion quickly became our mission: to breed healthy, well-socialized standard poodles that make exceptional family companions. Every puppy born at Purdy Poodles is raised in our home, surrounded by our family, children, and other pets.
We believe that the first weeks of a puppy's life are crucial for their development. That's why we invest significant time and effort into early neurological stimulation, socialization, and introducing our puppies to various sights, sounds, and experiences.
Our Breeding Philosophy
Health First
All our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing including OFA, genetic panels, and cardiac evaluations before being bred.
Temperament
We carefully select breeding pairs for excellent temperament, ensuring our puppies are confident, friendly, and adaptable.
Early Socialization
Our puppies are raised in our home with early neurological stimulation and exposure to various environments.
